Khabib Nurmagomedov has said it out loud and clear that he would not wait for Conor McGregor for too long, as much as he wants this fight to take place.
And for that reason, he has already announced his Plan B, according to which he would want to fight the winner of Eddie Alvarez vs Dustin Poirier if McGregor does not agree to the fight.
Earlier this week, speaking to the latest episode of Anatomy of a Fighter, the Russian said: “If they want to make money, let’s go – Khabib versus Conor. Country versus country, fans versus fans. It’s going to be very big, one of the biggest.”
But he says he would not wait for too long for the McGregor fight to take place and has his options figured out.
On the other hand, ex-Interim champion Tony Ferguson has also stated that he would rather fight Khabib than a bout with McGregor because the fight with Khabib is one he has most prepared for.
“I want to fight Khabib more than I want to fight McGregor. It has to happen. El Cucuy vs the Eagle, it has to,” Ferguson said.
But we are yet to see who Khabib fights next.
Who do you think is next in the line to fight the Eagle?
