LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday directed party leaders to file a petition against NADRA chairman before the Election Commission of Pakistan.
PTI claimed that NADRA chairman provided data to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to triumph in the upcoming general elections 2018, and to that end, has decided to file a petition against him.
Moreover, PTI added that the NADRA chief was appointed by the former government and hence, as long as he is there, free and fair elections will not be possible.
Party leader Babar Awan will file the petition against the NADRA chief, which also seeks removal of the chief from his post. Moreover, Awan has also briefed Khan about the petition.
Awan confirmed that the PTI will soon file a petition against NADRA supremo.
