First anniversary of All Sindhi Pathan Youth marked today

Published on: June 14, 2018 7:03 PM

SHIKARPUR: The first anniversary of All Sindhi Pathan Youth (ASPY) was celebrated at Kiri Nawab Khan, here, late in the day.

Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, former Speaker Sindh Assembly and Paghidar-e-Alla of ASPY, was the chief guest on the occasion. Durrani expressed his happiness over completing a successful year, and said that the network of All Sindhi Pathan Youth organisation which extended across Sindh within a short span of time, believes to resolve the outstanding problems of Sindhi Pathans and other communities of Sindh.

He further added that the Pakistan People’s Party is the only national political party in the country, and the upcoming elections, on the 25th of July, should be won with the active support of the people. The PPP had served the people in every field of life, he said, adding that Shikarpur is a strong fort of the Pakistan People’s Party, and designated candidates would clean sweep across Shikarpur.

He urged upon political rivals to play their progressive role for the promotion of democracy because of PPP founder Chairman Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, his brave daughter Mohattarma Benazir Bhutto, and party workers who have rendered sacrifices of their lives for the sake of democracy.

Agha Muneer Pathan, a notable of the city, was elected Tehsil Paghidar of Shikarpur, by the raise of hands of workers of ASPY during the ceremony.

Agha Muneer Pathan vowed he would discharge all his due abilities to play his role for the welfare of the ASPY. Agha Asad Pathan, the provincial president, along with Agha Sanaullah Khan Durrani, Paghidar of Shikarpur, and a large number of Pathans were also part of the program.

Agha Siraj Khan Durrani is currently, also, the leading ASPY Tanzeem in Sindh.
