KHAIRPUR: Shah Abdul Latif University Teachers Association (SALUTA) on Friday conducted a meeting with Sindh Professors Lecturers Association (SPLA) at the department of political science in Shah Abdul Latif University.
The meeting examined the issues of teachers and unanimously agreed to contest elections jointly for the two positions of academic senate of the university.
The delegation of SALU was led by Prof Dr Amir Ali Chandio and Prof Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah while the delegation of SPLA was led by Prof Syed Asghar Shah and Prof Mushtaq Phulpoto.
Moreover, the meeting decided to conduct further meetings for the interest of the university.
Dr Amir Ali Chandio announced that a rally against corruption would be held on May 12 in Sukkur.
The teachers, civil society and NGOs have been invited to participate at the rally.
