QUETTA: Balochistan Cheif Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Friday said that ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif would have to accept the top court’s decision that disqualified him for life.
He was talking to media during his visit to the Quetta District Jail.
Referring towards Nawaz’s stance on the former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani’s disqualification in a contempt case, Bizenjo said that Nawaz had not objected to the verdict earlier and today he was terming the same verdict as “wrong”.
He further said that Nawaz forgot all principles when the same verdict was announced for him.
Earlier today. the court announced the verdict stating the disqualification of lawmakers violating the criteria of “Sadiq and Ameen” under Article 62(1)(f) of the Constitution will be for life.The verdict has sealed the political fate of Nawaz Sharif, and PTI former secretary general Jahangir Khan Tareen.
