DADU: Dadu Police claimed on Thursday that district police arrested one of the accused identified as Sikandar Chandio, out of seven accused nominated in triple murder.
During a press conference SSP Dadu, Qamar Raza JiskanI said Chairman of Union Baladai of taluka Mehar, Rais Karm-u-llah Chandio, his son Mukhtiar Ahmed Chandio and Qabil Chandio were killed in armed attack at Ahmed Colony Mehar on January 17. Police had arrested Siknadar Chandio when he was riding on a motorcycle with two of his accomplices in Mehar. He said that accused had attempted to escape but police team after chase arrested him while two unknown persons managed to escape.
He said that on the complaint of Pervaiz Ahmed Chandio, FIR 20/2018 was registered with A section police station of Mehar against PPP MPA, tribal chief of Chandio tribe, Nawab Sardar Ahmed Chandio, his younger brother, former provincial adviser, Nawab Burhan Khan Chandio, Murtza Chandio, Ali Gohar Chandio, Sikandar Chandio, Zulifiqar Chandio, and an opponent deceased, Ghulam Qadir alias Qadoo Chandio. He said that police had recovered a repeater from the arrested accused which was used attacking Chandio House, Mehar.
