Raised voice for tribesmen at every forum: Senator Taj Afridi

KHYBER AGENCY: Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi said that he along with his Member National Assembly (MNA) brother echoed voice for the rights of tribal at every forum and time was near that they would get their all fundamental rights.

Addressing Afridi restaurant inauguration ceremony held at Nadir Khan Afridi Kalley of Tehsil Landi Kotal on Wednesday as chief guest Senator Taj Muhammad Afridi said that for the first time ever the tribal miseries were discussed at Parliament level and grievances of the tribesmen were convoyed to the rulers for solution. He came hard on previous Members Parliament from constituency NA- 45 and said they did nothing for the well-being of the tribal.

“The tribesmen should utilize their senses while choosing their representative for the Parliament in the upcoming election,” Taj Afridi maintained and adding they up-hold confidence of their voters by executing record development projects in the area. He assured that in near future the Federally Administer Tribal Area (FATA) would get rid of the draconian Law, Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR) and the tribal belt would include in the mainstream.

Malik Nadeem Afridi, Qari Said Alam Shinwari, Iqbal Khyberwal and others also spoke on the occasion. A large number of dwellers of Shinwari,Afridi and Shelmani tribesmen were among the participants of the gathering. At the end the chief guest cut the ribbon to formally open the restaurant.

Meanwhile, a non-governmental organisation, Customs Health Care Society Pakistan (CHCSP), gave financial support to heirs of 17 persons who were abducted three months ago from Adilkhad area of Tehsil Landi Kotal. The cash aid was extended to seven effected families in a simple gathering held in Landi Kotal press club on Wednesday.

Muhammad Jameel,a representative of CHCSP on behalf of Dr.Asif Mehmood Jaa(Sitar-e-Imtiaz),the Patron in Chief of CHCSP gave away Rs 7,000 to each of seven families.

Speaking on the occasion Muhammad Jameel said that CHCSP was not only functional at national level but rendered services internationally to needy in natural or man-made calamities. He added that the organisation would leave no stone unturned to work for welfare of the tribesmen across the tribal belt. Niaz Muhammad, one of head of effected families whose lonely son was among those kidnapped thanked Dr Asif Mehmood Jaa for his generous support and urged the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan to help them find their beloved ones.
