Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, met Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Sunday, where both sides discussed bilateral relations, regional security, and matters of mutual interest. The meeting reflected the continued engagement between Pakistan and Canada on issues related to peace, security, and defence cooperation.
During the meeting, Field Marshal Asim Munir shared Pakistan’s perspective on global peace and regional stability, stressing the importance of greater cooperation and coordinated efforts to address common security challenges. He highlighted the value of constructive partnerships in promoting lasting peace and responding effectively to evolving regional and international security concerns.
