Pakistan concluded a historic campaign at the Asian Jujitsu Championship 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, winning seven medals and securing the Best Under16 Team of Asia title.
Pakistan’s final tally stood at two gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals, along with the Best Under16 Team of Asia title.
According to information received here, on the final day of competition, Ebad ur Rehman won a bronze medal in the Under18 Fighting System (85kg) event after defeating his Indian opponent. In the Under21 Men’s Duo Show System, Umer Yaseen and Ebad ur Rehman claimed silver medals, taking Pakistan’s overall tally to seven.
The medal and closing ceremony was attended by guests of honour including Secretary General of the South Asian Jujitsu Regional Association and Pakistan Jujitsu Federation Tariq Ali, and Trade and Investment Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kazakhstan Rizwana Qazi.
Chairman of the Pakistan Jujitsu Federation congratulated the athletes, coaches and officials, saying the achievement was the result of years of dedication, strategic planning and collective commitment. Tariq Ali, Secretary General of the Pakistan Jujitsu Federation and team leader, said the performance demonstrated the growing strength of Pakistan’s Jujitsu programme and would motivate the team ahead of future Asian and World Championships.
