According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the discussions were conducted in a positive and constructive atmosphere. The two sides agreed to form a High-Level Committee to provide political oversight and support future negotiations. They also approved the continuation of technical talks aimed at addressing outstanding issues.
Shehbaz praised the leadership of both the United States and Iran for their commitment to dialogue and constructive engagement. He also thanked Qatar and Switzerland for their support in facilitating the talks. The prime minister said cooperation among friendly nations helped create conditions necessary for meaningful progress.

The premier paid tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir for his role in advancing the diplomatic initiative. He also acknowledged the efforts of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and officials from the Foreign Office. According to Shehbaz, Pakistan will continue supporting dialogue and diplomacy to achieve lasting peace.
Meanwhile, a joint statement by Pakistan and Qatar confirmed that Washington and Tehran had agreed on a 60-day roadmap toward a final deal. Technical discussions are set to continue in Switzerland throughout the week. Reports also indicated progress on issues related to Lebanon and maritime security, while Iranian officials highlighted potential economic benefits and the release of certain frozen assets under the evolving framework.
