Gold prices dip by Rs 200 per tola

The prices of gold witnessed a slight decline in the local market on Wednesday, with 24 karat gold per tola decreasing by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 455,236, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs 170 to Rs 389,684, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold declined by Rs 155 to Rs 357,394. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $2 to $4,328 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 44 to Rs 7,497 while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 38 to Rs 6,385. The price of silver in the international market also increased by $0.44 to $70.24 per ounce, the association reported.
