Published on: June 3, 2026 6:48 PM

Pakistani actress and model Merub Ali has undergone surgery for a finger-related medical condition and is currently recovering at home after being discharged from hospital. She shared her health update on social media, informing fans about the procedure and her gradual recovery process following treatment in Karachi.

The actress explained that she initially experienced restricted movement in one finger, along with repeated locking that disrupted her daily routine and professional activities. As symptoms continued, she sought medical advice to identify the cause of the discomfort and ensure proper treatment at an early stage.

Initially, doctors including a rheumatologist and neurologist examined her condition but did not find any major underlying issue. However, her condition persisted, and later an orthopedic specialist conducted a more detailed assessment that led to a clear diagnosis and recommendation for surgery.

Following medical advice, Merub Ali underwent surgery at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, where the procedure was performed under expert supervision. She noted that the operation, although expected to be minor, became more complex and time-consuming than initially anticipated by the medical team.
