UMT president pays tribute to Armed Forces on Marka-e-Haq anniversary

Published on: May 10, 2026 2:25 AM

Chairman and President of the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Ibrahim Hasan Murad, paid rich tribute to the leadership of the Pakistan Armed Forces, their unwavering resolve and the unity of the nation on the historic success of Marka-e-Haq. He stated that this remarkable achievement reflects Pakistan’s national dignity, defense strength and growing recognition at the global level.

Ibrahim Hasan Murad said that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistan Armed Forces demonstrated exceptional courage, strategic wisdom and professional excellence in delivering a strong and effective response to the enemy’s hostile intentions. He remarked that Marka-e-Haq further strengthened the spirit of unity, patriotism, sacrifice and defense of the homeland among the entire nation.

Murad emphasized that any compromise on Pakistan’s national security, sovereignty and defense is unacceptable, adding that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces. He stated that every malicious attempt against the homeland would be countered through national unity, strong defense and collective determination.

The Chairman UMT further stressed that the foundation of a strong, stable and prosperous Pakistan lies in national cohesion, internal stability and mutual trust. He said that every citizen must fulfill their national responsibilities with commitment and dedication to uphold national dignity and ensure the triumph of truth and justice.

Highlighting the role of youth, Ibrahim Murad urged the younger generation to actively contribute towards national development, intellectual awareness, positive thinking and the promotion of constructive values so that Pakistan may emerge as a stronger and more progressive state in the future.

Murad also paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs, describing them as a source of pride for the nation. He said that the families of the martyrs deserve the utmost respect and honor and the nation will always remember their sacrifices with gratitude and reverence.
