Tina Charles ends career after 15 seasons with emotional exit

Tina Charles has officially announced her retirement from professional basketball after an outstanding 15-season career, marking the end of one of the most consistent runs in women’s basketball history. The veteran made the announcement on social media, confirming her decision to step away from the game.

In her statement, Charles reflected on her long journey in the WNBA, describing both the highest achievements and toughest challenges she faced throughout her career. She expressed gratitude for the experience, noting that every stage contributed to her growth as an athlete and individual.

Charles explained that her decision came after deep reflection on personal growth and changing purpose, emphasizing that she recognized when her impact was shifting in a new direction.
