Blake Lively breaks silence after Justin Baldoni scores big win ahead of legal trial

The legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has intensified as both sides continue to disagree over what evidence should be included in the upcoming trial related to the film It Ends With Us.

The trial, scheduled to begin on May 18, remains under dispute as lawyers argue over the scope of claims that will be presented before the jury. A judge has already dismissed ten of Lively’s thirteen claims, leaving a limited number of allegations to proceed.

Baldoni’s legal team is pushing to exclude what it describes as “irrelevant” material, arguing that certain claims could unfairly influence the jury. However, Lively’s attorneys insist that the disputed evidence is essential to understanding the full context of her harassment allegations.

One of the key points of contention involves allegations that Baldoni made remarks about Lively’s weight during discussions related to the film. Her legal team argues that these comments are directly tied to her claims of inappropriate workplace conduct and retaliation, and therefore should remain part of the case.

Lively has also alleged that Baldoni engaged in indirect criticism of her body and contacted her fitness trainer without her consent, allegedly requesting that she undergo a rapid weight change for filming purposes. She claims these actions contributed to a hostile work environment.

Baldoni, however, has denied these accusations, stating that any communication with the trainer was related to planning a physically demanding scene and was motivated by safety concerns due to his own back issues.

The disagreement highlights the growing tension between both parties as they prepare for a closely watched trial in the entertainment industry. Legal experts note that pre-trial disputes over admissible evidence could play a significant role in shaping how the case unfolds in court.
