The passing out parade at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul in Abbottabad was marked by pride and powerful messages on national security. Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu attended as chief guest, emphasizing Pakistan’s readiness to defend its sovereignty.
The prestigious passing-out parade was held at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, where multiple courses successfully completed their training. Cadets from the 38th Technical Graduates Course, 72nd Integrated Course, 15th Mujahid Course, and 27th Lady Cadet Course participated in the ceremony, showcasing discipline and professionalism.
A total of 30 cadets from friendly countries were also part of the passing out parade. Cadets from Iraq, Palestine, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, and Sri Lanka were included, while Haider Company was awarded the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam Banner for outstanding performance.
Air Chief Sidhu inspected the parade and praised the cadets for their dedication and commitment. During the ceremony, cadets took an oath of allegiance to the motherland, pledging to serve and protect Pakistan with honor and integrity.
Addressing the ceremony, the air chief described PMA Kakul as one of the best military academies in the world with a glorious history. He expressed satisfaction over the inclusion of women among the cadets, calling it a positive and encouraging development. He also congratulated cadets from friendly countries on their successful completion of training.
Highlighting their future roles, the air chief reminded cadets that their primary responsibility is to ensure the security and defense of the country. He stressed that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and prepared to counter any threats.
Referring to recent conflicts, Air Chief Sidhu said the world had witnessed the strategy of the Pakistan Army in Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsus. He added that the Pakistan Air Force not only shot down enemy aircraft but also made history, demonstrating its strength and operational excellence.
The air chief warned that any aggression against Pakistani soil would be met with a befitting and decisive response. He noted that in May last year, the enemy was left stunned by Pakistan’s strength, skill, and preparedness.
While highlighting defense capabilities, the air chief also acknowledged the efforts of political and military leadership in promoting peace at the global level. He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to support the oppressed people in occupied Kashmir.
The ceremony concluded with a clear message of unity, strength, and commitment to national defense, as newly commissioned officers prepare to take on their responsibilities.
