According to Arab media reports, the Pakistani team will hold key talks on restarting negotiations between the United States and Iran. Iranian sources said the visit comes amid renewed efforts to resume stalled diplomatic engagement. The timing is seen as significant given recent tensions in the region.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei earlier said that message exchanges with the United States are ongoing through Pakistan. He also indicated that Iran may host a Pakistani delegation as part of the continuing dialogue process. Talks are expected to focus on de-escalation and diplomatic continuity.
