The Turkish president warned that Israeli attacks in Lebanon are undermining prospects for peace. He said continued civilian casualties are damaging efforts to sustain the fragile ceasefire environment. He urged all sides to seize the opportunity created by ongoing diplomatic channels.
Erdogan also noted that negotiations face challenges, particularly over the nuclear issue and tensions around the Strait of Hormuz. He said discussions have not collapsed but have encountered significant setbacks. Türkiye, he added, is actively proposing measures to ease tensions and extend the ceasefire.
