Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah extended Easter greetings to the Christian community on Sunday.
In his special Easter message, the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah prayed for peace, progress, and prosperity. He said that Easter in Sindh is a beautiful example of religious harmony and brotherhood.
He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government is committed to protecting the rights of minorities. Shah said that Easter conveys a message of hope, love, and new beginnings. The Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that all followers of different religions in Sindh enjoy equal rights.
Sindh is the land of Sufis and a symbol of tolerance, he said adding that the Sindh government is striving to promote religious freedom and harmony. He also expressed his best wishes for the Christian community.
Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Labour, Human Resources and Social Protection, Saeed Ghani, has extended warm greetings to the Christian community on the occasion of Easter, calling it a festival that carries a universal message of love, hope, and peace.
Saeed Ghani said in his message that the Christian community in Pakistan plays a vital role in the country’s development, contributing across schools, hospitals, government services, and the armed forces. He added that Easter teaches the values of love, peace, and brotherhood, and highlighted that all religions and sects are equally respected in Sindh.
