Speaking on the Podcast with Mubashir Hashmi, Wazeer revealed that Hania Aamir has been training in boxing and has shown impressive skills during sparring sessions. He noted that while fans see her as “cute and delicate” on screen, her performance in training tells a very different story.
“The way she boxes and spars, she has an energy in her that fans just haven’t seen,” Wazeer said, adding that her training videos have intentionally not been shared publicly yet. He indicated that the decision was deliberate and that such content may be released in the future.
Wazeer, who boasts an undefeated streak in his last 18 fights with 13 knockouts, also spoke about the pressures of competing internationally, particularly against Indian opponents. He shared that such matches carry emotional significance, recalling how his family encourages him to secure quick victories.

Despite his achievements, the boxer expressed frustration over the lack of financial support for the sport. He said that promised funds from the government, including announcements by Shehbaz Sharif and Murad Ali Shah, have yet to materialize.
Wazeer questioned delays in disbursement and highlighted challenges faced by athletes from regions like Gilgit-Baltistan, calling for greater support to nurture talent across the country.
