According to security officials, the military targeted several militant posts in the Bajaur sector using advanced weapon systems, destroying fortified positions used by insurgent elements operating close to the border region.
According to military sources, the strikes focused on Taliban posts located near the mountainous frontier in Bajaur District, where militants had reportedly established observation points and logistical bases.
