
North Korea has conducted another test of strategic cruise missiles, according to state media. The test comes as regional tensions rise during ongoing military drills in the area. The development could further strain security dynamics in Northeast Asia.
The missile test took place while joint annual military exercises between South Korea and the United States began earlier this week. Such drills have often drawn strong reactions from Pyongyang. North Korea considers the exercises a security threat.

According to the state news agency Korean Central News Agency, leader Kim Jong Un inspected the launch of the strategic cruise missiles via video link on Tuesday. He emphasized the importance of maintaining and expanding a powerful and reliable nuclear deterrent.
State media also released images showing Kim’s daughter, Kim Ju Ae, observing the missile test. Her appearance at military events has increasingly drawn attention from international analysts.
