One of the biggest hits was Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip, a comedy created by and starring Tyler Perry. The film follows the outspoken character Joe on a chaotic cross-country journey with his grandson to visit potential colleges. Blending humor with life lessons, the movie quickly climbed to the top of Netflix’s English film rankings, drawing more than 10 million views within its first week.

Another major highlight was How to Train Your Dragon, a live-action remake of the beloved animated franchise. The fantasy adventure tells the story of a young Viking named Hiccup who forms an unlikely friendship with a dragon called Toothless, challenging the traditions of his village. With impressive visual effects and a nostalgic storyline, the film attracted families and long-time fans of the series.

Thriller fans were captivated by Firebreak, which follows a group of firefighters battling a devastating wildfire while uncovering hidden conspiracies. The high-stakes narrative and timely environmental themes helped the film gain strong global viewership throughout the month.

Meanwhile, action lovers flocked to Jurassic World Rebirth, the latest installment in the popular dinosaur franchise. Packed with intense action sequences and spectacular visual effects, the film offered big-budget entertainment for audiences seeking escapist thrills.

Rounding out the list was the true-crime documentary The Investigation of Lucy Letby, which explores the disturbing case involving British nurse Lucy Letby. The documentary sparked widespread discussion due to its detailed examination of the investigation and its broader implications. Together, these films showcased Netflix’s ability to deliver varied storytelling that appealed to viewers across genres.
