The PAA emphasized that air traffic controllers and airport teams are fully operational, managing traffic and ensuring uninterrupted flow. Alternative routing options are available and routinely used for any affected flights, maintaining standard operational efficiency. The authority stressed that passenger safety and routine operations are unaffected.

The advisory in question, NOTAM A0134/26, was misinterpreted by media outlets. It is a standard operational notice about temporary unavailability of specific route segments in Karachi and Lahore FIRs during daily windows from 0900-1500 PKT until March 31. The segments are closed from ground level to unlimited altitude for routine operational reasons.
PAA urged media and social media users to follow official statements and avoid sensational reporting that may cause unnecessary passenger concern. The authority reassured the public that all civil aviation operations are proceeding normally across the country.
