Khamenei’s last message shared widely by Iranian media outlets

Published on: March 1, 2026 6:30 PM

Iranian media outlets have published what they described as the final message of Ali Khamenei after confirming he was martyred in a reported US and Israeli strike. The message quickly spread across television channels and social media platforms nationwide. Officials presented it as a farewell statement directed at the Iranian people. Consequently, the publication intensified public emotion and national reflection.

In the message, Khamenei reportedly stated that the Iranian nation understands its Islamic teachings and knows how to respond during difficult times. He emphasized awareness, patience, and unity in the face of adversity. Supporters described his words as a call for resilience and moral strength. Therefore, many citizens viewed the message as guidance during a period of uncertainty.

Media channels also highlighted a historic quote attributed to Husayn ibn Ali, referencing resistance against injustice. The quote, often linked to the events of Karbala, symbolized steadfastness and refusal to submit to oppression. Broadcasters portrayed the reference as deeply symbolic in the current context. As a result, religious and historical themes shaped much of the public discussion.

State-run outlets confirmed Khamenei’s martyred and announced a seven-day public holiday along with a 40-day national mourning period. Authorities described the incident as a profound national tragedy with lasting consequences. Reports also claimed that several senior figures were killed in the same strike. Consequently, national institutions began organizing memorial gatherings across major cities.
