
A Lahore court restored frozen bank accounts of YouTuber Saad Rehman on Monday. The court also allowed him to resume YouTube uploads with strict conditions. The relief comes in a case involving alleged promotion of gambling applications.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the case at District Courts Lahore. Saad Rehman appeared with his wife Aroob Jatoi and legal team. His counsel included Barrister Amrit Sheikh and Advocate Usman Latif. The court directed authorities to immediately restore his frozen bank accounts.

However, the magistrate imposed a key restriction on his online activity. He may upload content but cannot discuss the pending case. The court emphasized that any violation of this condition may invite legal consequences. Proceedings will continue as investigations progress.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency informed the court about objections to 27 videos. Officials argued the videos related to alleged gambling app promotion. However, the court decided not to remove the videos at this stage. The magistrate adjourned the hearing until March 11.

Meanwhile, the court summoned NCCIA witnesses for the next hearing. After the proceedings, Rehman received a commemorative shield inside court premises. The celebration marked his milestone of reaching 10 million followers on YouTube. The case continues as authorities review digital content and related evidence.
