
The Ramzan Nigahban Package has fixed prices for essential items in special markets. Flour, chicken, and eggs will be sold at subsidized rates. The package aims to support low-income families during the holy month.
A meeting on the package was held at the Department of Food Safety and Consumer Protection. Special Assistant Salma Butt chaired the session. She discussed measures to ensure fair access in all districts.

During Ramzan, a 10-kilogram bag of flour will cost Rs850 in model, convenience, and Ramzan markets. Each flour mill will set up three sale points in its district for subsidized distribution.
Chicken and eggs will also be available at lower rates in special markets. Additionally, 1,216 ‘Maryam Ka Dastarkhwan’ centers will operate across 152 tehsils in Punjab, serving 250 people daily throughout the month.

All model and convenience Ramzan markets in Punjab will open from February 15. They will operate daily from 9am to 5pm to ensure maximum public access.
