
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said he will not allow anyone to speak against Pakistan’s army or judiciary in Parliament. He urged lawmakers to focus on public service and maintain peaceful debates. Sadiq emphasized that respecting institutions is vital for national unity and stability.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, he advised opposition leaders to raise concerns respectfully on the parliamentary floor. He said peaceful protests are acceptable, but no anti-Pakistan remarks will be tolerated. Sadiq assured that he consults the Prime Minister but acts independently to protect national interests.

The Speaker highlighted Pakistan’s strong foreign relations and growing international respect. He said mafias and obstacles exist worldwide, but truth and justice guide the nation’s path. According to Sadiq, only issues with neighboring countries threaten Pakistan’s security and citizens’ safety.
Sadiq also mentioned that Parliament should prioritize serving the people. Lawmakers should bring policies and legislation that benefit citizens rather than engage in divisive rhetoric. He underlined that maintaining order in the assembly ensures democracy functions effectively.

Finally, the Speaker reiterated his commitment to preserving Pakistan’s institutions. He warned that any attempts to undermine the army or judiciary will be strictly prevented. Sadiq concluded by urging all lawmakers to focus on development, stability, and public welfare.
