Saturday Night Live has unveiled its lineup of hosts and musical guests for three episodes in January 2026, signaling a high-profile start to the new year for the long-running NBC sketch show. Finn Wolfhard will make his SNL hosting debut on January 17, shortly after the finale of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which concluded a near-decade run for the actor. The episode will feature A$AP Rocky as the musical guest, coinciding with the release of his new album Don’t Be Dumb on January 16. This installment will also mark the first broadcast following Bowen Yang’s emotional exit after seven seasons, amid a broader cast transition.

Teyana Taylor is scheduled to host on January 24 while riding the momentum of awards-season buzz for her role in One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Indie rock band Geese will provide the musical backdrop, promoting their 2025 album Getting Killed.

Alexander Skarsgård will close out the month as host on January 31, highlighting his upcoming film Pillion, set to release on February 6, and his role in The Moment, a new project premiering January 30 starring Charli XCX. Rap superstar Cardi B will appear as the musical guest, performing tracks from her latest album Am I the Drama?
