PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said on Wednesday that his government is preparing a Rs1 trillion Roshan Qabail development package for the merged tribal districts. The package aims to ensure sustainable socio-economic growth, improve infrastructure, and create employment opportunities in the formerly underdeveloped areas.
During a meeting to finalise the framework, officials reviewed priority sectors and proposed investments across six thematic areas. Afridi said the package would include establishing a Tribal Medical College, Institute of Modern Sciences, Safe City projects, and district- and tehsil-level hospitals in underserved areas.
