LAHORE (December 26, 2025): The final of the 14th Lahore Open Polo Championship 2025 – Patron’s Cup, organised under the auspices of the Lahore Polo Club, will be played on Sunday between Diamond Paints and FG/Asean, following exciting semifinal encounters witnessed by a large turnout of spectators and families.
On Friday, two highly competitive semifinals were contested, drawing keen interest from polo enthusiasts. The matches were attended by Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, Executive Committee members, Secretary Maj Amjad Ghafoor, club members, and a significant number of players and officials, highlighting the importance of the tournament on the domestic polo calendar.
In the first semifinal, Diamond Paints secured their place in the final by defeating BN Polo by 6–4. Raja Jalal Arsalan led the charge for Diamond Paints with an impressive three goals, while Raja Temur Nadeem contributed two goals and Mir Huzaifa Ahmed added one goal. For BN Polo, all four goals were scored by Hamza Mawaz Khan, who delivered a strong individual performance despite his team’s defeat.
The second semifinal saw FG/Asean produce a commanding display as they overcame Master Paints Black by 8–4 to book their spot in the main final. Raja Mikayial Sami was the standout performer for FG/Asean, scoring four goals, while Hashim Asad added two goals. Amin ur Rehman and Saqib Khan Khakwani chipped in with one goal each, ensuring a comfortable victory for their side.
For Master Paints Black, Sufi Haroon, Syed Turab Muhammad Rizvi, and Ignacia each scored a goal, but their efforts were not enough to halt FG/Asean’s momentum.
With these results, Diamond Paints and FG/Asean will now clash in the main final on Sunday, where the prestigious Patron’s Cup title will be at stake. Meanwhile, BN Polo and Master Paints Black will compete in the third-place playoff, adding further excitement to the concluding day of the championship.
