British charity collective Together For Palestine (T4P) has raised £70,000 in the first week of its new single, Lullaby. The Arabic-English song debuted at number five on the UK Singles Chart, the highest-ever position for an Arabic track. All proceeds will go to Palestinian relief organizations, including Taawon and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

The single is a reimagining of the iconic Arabic song Yamma Mwel El Hawa, performed by a mix of Palestinian and British artists. Contributors include Amena, Brian Eno, Bastille’s Dan Smith, Mabel, Nadine Shah, and the London Community Gospel Choir. The English lyrics were penned by Peter Gabriel, while the Arabic lines draw from Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.

The music video, shot in Gaza and Jerusalem, shows everyday life amid destruction, highlighting resilience and dignity. Scenes include skateboarding boys, girls brushing hair, and people by the beach, with the backdrop of damaged buildings and displacement camps. T4P said the visuals capture the spirit of Palestinian life and struggle.
The song follows T4P’s November concert at London’s OVO Arena, which raised over $2 million for organizations working in Gaza and the West Bank. The collective encouraged fans to stream, buy, and gift the single to maximize donations. The cover art was created by Gazan painter Malak Mattar.
The song’s chart success demonstrates growing global interest in Palestinian culture. It also amplifies awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. T4P continues to share fundraising content online, including the November concert recording featuring performances and speeches from Mehdi Hasan, Francesca Albanese, and others.
