An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday adjourned the post-arrest bail hearings of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi in three May 9 arson and vandalism cases after the prosecution once again failed to produce the case record.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings and directed the prosecution to ensure submission of the complete records by December 19, the next date of hearing.

During the hearing, the court directed investigators to complete the probe in the cases pertaining to Musarrat Jamshed Cheema. The investigation against Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has already been completed. The court further instructed that arguments on the bail petitions be presented at the next hearing. Musarrat Jamshed Cheema has secured interim bail in eight cases, while Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has obtained interim bail in four cases. The cases include charges related to the Jinnah House attack, Askari Tower attack, and incidents of arson outside Rahat Bakery, among others.
