Punjab’s Local Government Department, in collaboration with NADRA, has launched a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application to digitise civil registrations, including births, deaths, marriages, and divorces across the province.
Provincial Minister Zeeshan Rafiq inaugurated the E-Registration App, highlighting that citizens can now register these records from home, making the process more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly for the general public.
The app is fully integrated with the NADRA data system, ensuring that once a record is entered, it is automatically updated on the national database, eliminating delays and errors in official documentation.

Rafiq explained that the collaboration between the Local Government Department and NADRA is part of modernising Punjab’s Civil Registration System, improving record accuracy and helping the government understand the correct demographic composition.
The E-Registration System is also connected with Union Council offices across Punjab, allowing easy verification and registration at the grassroots level, ensuring convenience for citizens and proper record-keeping nationwide.
The new digital platform is expected to simplify administrative procedures, reduce manual paperwork, and promote efficiency while supporting government initiatives for a fully digitised civil registration infrastructure in Punjab.
