Dr Wardah murder

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took notice of Dr Wardah’s murder on Wednesday and sought a detailed report from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief. He expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured the family of full legal support during the investigation.

The prime minister said the government would closely monitor the case. He added that all responsible individuals would be brought to justice without delay. His statement aimed to calm public concern over the tragic killing.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Saba Sadiq visited the home of Dr Wardah. She offered condolences to the grieving family and assured them of full government support. Her visit highlighted the government’s commitment to the case.

Saba Sadiq said the killers would be arrested at all costs. She stressed that justice would be ensured for the daughter of Hazara. She warned that any negligence in the case would lead to strict disciplinary action.

Authorities said they would ensure a transparent and fair investigation. They added that the government was determined to protect citizens, especially women working in essential fields. The case has sparked strong reactions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Negotiations between the KP government and the Grand Health Alliance concluded successfully on Tuesday. Officials accepted all demands put forward by the health workers. The breakthrough helped ease tensions within the province’s medical community.

On the request of Dr Wardah’s father, the Grand Health Alliance postponed its planned protest. The group said it would monitor the investigation closely. It added that it expected swift action and justice for the young doctor.
