LAHORE (December 9, 2025): The 13th Corps Commander Polo Cup 2025, sponsored by Newage Cables and organized under the banner of Jinnah Polo Fields, commenced in Lahore with great fanfare. The opening day featured two exciting matches, drawing a large crowd of spectators, families, and polo enthusiasts.
Prominent personalities including Adnan Jalil Azam, Director of Newage Cables, and Major Adil Rao (R), Secretary of Jinnah Polo Fields, were present at the venue, along with a strong turnout of polo players and club members, adding further vibrancy to the event.
In the first match of the tournament, FG/Asean showcased impressive coordination and offensive strength to secure an 8–5 victory over Team Balochistan. For FG/Asean, Raja Mikayial Sami led the scoring with four goals, while Saqib Khan Khakwani contributed three goals and Hashim Asad added one goal to complete the tally. Team Balochistan fought hard, with Marcos Rivarola scoring two goals, while Ibrahim Naveed Sheikh, Col Shayan Abbasi, and Omer Asjad Malhi chipped in with one goal each.
The second match saw Master Paints Black dominate the field as they defeated BN Polo 9–5 in a fast-paced, high-scoring contest. For Master Paints Black, Muhammad Ali Malik was the standout performer with four goals. Raja Temur Nadeem scored three goals and Syed Turab Muhammad Rizvi added two goals to round off the team’s commanding performance. BN Polo’s resistance came through Hamza Mawaz Khan, who scored four goals, while Saim Abbas added one goal for his side.
