Residents are now facing serious difficulties in commuting and transporting goods, with the bridge serving as a vital link for daily travel. Officials stated that temporary alternative routes are being used, but these are insufficient to handle the usual traffic and logistics.

Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrators behind the attack. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage, collecting evidence from the blast site, and coordinating with local intelligence agencies to prevent further incidents.

The Mamandkhel area and surrounding districts have experienced similar attacks in the past, where several link bridges were destroyed using explosives. Although these bridges were eventually reconstructed, the recurring nature of such incidents continues to pose a threat to public safety and regional connectivity.

Local leaders have expressed concern over repeated sabotage of infrastructure, urging authorities to implement stronger security measures. They emphasized the need for heightened vigilance, community reporting mechanisms, and rapid repair systems to reduce the impact of such attacks on residents.

Security experts warn that such attacks not only disrupt daily life but also hinder economic activity, especially in rural areas that rely heavily on link bridges for trade and mobility. They call for a coordinated approach involving law enforcement, military, and civil authorities to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure.

Police officials have assured the public that all necessary steps are being taken to bring the culprits to justice and restore normalcy as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, residents continue to navigate challenges caused by the destruction of the bridge.
