
Actor Fawad Khan called Lahore a “classically romantic city” while promoting his upcoming film Neelofar. He said he fell in love with his wife, Sadaf, during a foggy winter in 1998. Fawad described the city’s winter fog as magical, giving a perfect setting for romance.
He first saw Sadaf at Four Seasons restaurant on MM Alam Road. Fawad described the venue like a banquet hall. That encounter, he said, changed his life and led to a lasting relationship.

Reflecting on Lahore’s past, Fawad said winters were nostalgic and romantic, unlike today’s smoggy seasons. He added that the city still holds a charming aura during foggy mornings. This atmosphere, he said, makes falling in love almost effortless.
Fawad and Sadaf married in 2005 and now have three children: a son, Ayaan, and daughters Alaina and Biya. He said Lahore’s romantic charm played a key role in their early love story.
