Beatrice and Eugenie navigate royal turmoil

Published on: November 21, 2025 2:53 PM

Princess Eugenie, Beatrice trying not get dragged into palace politics amid Andrew, Sarah crisis
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly striving to stay united and avoid being pulled into royal politics as their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, face renewed turbulence. King Charles recently stripped Andrew of his princely title and ordered him to vacate the Royal Lodge, where he has lived with Sarah since 2008, escalating tensions within the family.

Royal expert Rob Shuter claims the sisters are privately navigating “one of the most delicate family dilemmas in modern royal history,” despite maintaining warm smiles in public. Writing in his ShuterScoop column, Shuter noted that ongoing controversies surrounding Andrew—and speculation sparked by Queen Camilla’s recent jewelry choices—have placed the sisters in a difficult position.

According to insiders, Beatrice and Eugenie remain deeply devoted to both parents but are fully aware of how swiftly palace dynamics can shift. “The Firm moves as a single organism. When the palace shifts, they feel it — and they have to adapt,” a source shared.

Another insider described the current atmosphere as a “loyalty minefield,” where even subtle choices like outfits, seating arrangements or public appearances can be interpreted as symbolic statements. Through it all, the sisters are said to be focusing on staying united, gracious, and determined not to be drawn into palace politics.
