
KARACHI – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Monday for a daylong visit to inaugurate the renovated Cantt railway station. He was received at the airport by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other senior officials.

During his visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif inspected the up-gradation work at the station, accompanied by Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi, who briefed him on the modern facilities provided for passengers. The renovated station now includes two modern lounges, three waiting halls, executive washrooms, and four escalators.

An information desk has also been established to assist travelers, enhancing convenience and efficiency at one of the city’s busiest railway hubs. The project aims to provide passengers with a more comfortable and modern travel experience.
