Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh met US Congressman John B. Larson to strengthen bilateral economic ties. Both sides discussed ways to unlock the full potential of the relationship for mutual benefit. They focused on new opportunities that could support long-term cooperation in key sectors.
During the meeting, Ambassador Sheikh promoted the “Pakistan for Profit” concept to highlight promising investment avenues. He stressed that the model offers mutually rewarding opportunities for both countries. Moreover, he noted that the Pakistani-American community in Connecticut can help build lasting partnerships.

He explained that active participation in business and cultural exchanges can narrow gaps between the two nations. Additionally, he encouraged community members to support new ventures that promote shared economic growth. Their involvement could also strengthen existing channels for collaboration.
Later, Ambassador Sheikh urged tech leaders to use artificial intelligence to advance Pak-US economic cooperation. He addressed more than 40 entrepreneurs and professionals from major US tech hubs. He underlined Pakistan’s shift toward geo-economics as a path to stable and productive ties.
