Shakira turned her Zootopia 2 recording session into a special family experience, bringing her two sons, Milan, 12, and Sasha, 10, to the Hollywood premiere on Thursday, November 13. The superstar singer walked the red carpet with the boys, who also lent their voices to the Disney sequel.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Shakira revealed that her sons recorded their lines alongside her. “Oh my God, I drool over them. They know that. They were not shy at all. They were very spontaneous, and it was very easy to record their lines,” she said. Shakira voices Gazelle in both Zootopia films, while her sons played Judy Hopps’ little brothers.

The young actors shared their excitement about the experience. Sasha said, “Yeah, tons,” while Milan added, “Of course. It was a great experience and I’m super excited.” The recording session gave the family an opportunity to work together creatively, making the sequel even more special for them.
For the premiere, Shakira and her sons coordinated their outfits in matching purple ensembles. The singer wore a long-sleeve turtleneck purple dress, while Milan and Sasha complemented her with suits and purple bow ties, showcasing their signature family charm.
