
Lieutenant General Syed Aamer Raza, Chief of General Staff (CGS) Pakistan Army, met General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al-Rowaily, Saudi Chief of General Staff, in Riyadh to discuss mutual defence cooperation.
The leaders focused on enhancing bilateral defence ties, boosting military interoperability, and advancing collaboration under the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA), aiming to strengthen long-term regional security and stability.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, highlighting shared strategic interests and their role in promoting peace, security, and self-reliance in the region.
A Special Meeting of the Pakistan-KSA Bilateral Defence Industrial Forum was also held, with Pakistan’s delegation led by CGS General Aamer Raza and Saudi side headed by Assistant Minister Khalid Al Biyari.

During the forum, participants reviewed ongoing defence projects and explored new joint ventures in emerging technologies, aligning initiatives with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and regional modernization goals.
CGS Aamer Raza emphasized Pakistan’s continued support for building the Royal Saudi Defence Forces’ capabilities, while Saudi officials appreciated Pakistan’s contributions to counter-terrorism efforts and its vital role in maintaining regional peace.
