
ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB) came alive with color, music and cultural diversity on Saturday as students, teachers and diplomats gathered to celebrate International Culture Day 2025.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, the annual festival— inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi — transformed the campus into a “living mosaic of global harmony,” showcasing cultural representations from over 50 countries, including Pakistan and China.

From the aroma of traditional cuisines wafting through the air to the rhythm of folk music and the vibrant display of national costumes, the event embodied the spirit of unity in diversity. Principal Shazia Amjad commended students and staff for their creativity, describing the campus as “a miniature world of cultures where learning extends beyond classrooms into shared experiences.”
Ambassador Hashmi praised the event’s success, calling PECB “a bridge of friendship and understanding” that continues to strengthen ties between Pakistan, China and the broader international community. The celebration featured a wide array of performances — from traditional Chinese dragon dances to energetic Pakistani folk songs — met with applause and enthusiasm from guests and participants alike.
