
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has reaffirmed that maintaining law and order remains the government’s top priority, vowing zero tolerance for any attempt to spread unrest or disrupt peace. She emphasized that protecting citizens’ lives and property is the state’s foremost duty, underscoring her administration’s firm commitment to ensuring stability across Punjab.
During meetings with assembly members and party ticket holders from Wazirabad and Mianwali, Maryam Nawaz reviewed ongoing development projects and public concerns in detail. Lawmakers expressed appreciation for her proactive approach and praised her leadership in launching initiatives such as the Green Bus service and the “Suthra Punjab” project, aimed at improving urban transport and cleanliness.

The Chief Minister reiterated that serving the people is central to the mission of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). She highlighted welfare measures including the Kisan Card and free doorstep medicine delivery, calling them tangible proof of the government’s commitment to inclusive progress and social welfare across Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz also announced that for the first time in Punjab’s history, three million citizens have received pay orders worth Rs10,000 delivered directly to their homes. Additionally, 1.5 million individuals are benefiting from monthly financial aid of Rs3,000 under the ration card program, marking a major milestone in provincial social protection efforts.

Furthermore, she reaffirmed her dedication to supporting farmers and improving livelihoods, assuring that new large-scale development projects will soon be launched to sustain growth and prosperity. Lawmakers praised her “action-first” governance model, stating that Maryam Nawaz’s transparent and merit-based leadership is transforming Punjab’s future through equitable development and accountability.
