
VIRGINIA – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has called for enhancing economic cooperation between Islamabad and Washington to strengthen bilateral relations.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Pakistan-US Business Conference and Expo in Virginia, Ambassador Sheikh stressed the importance of aligning Pakistan’s business strategies with the US market. He said that robust trade relations were key to building long-term and sustainable ties between the two nations.

“Diplomacy creates opportunities, but it is up to the business community to take advantage of them,” the ambassador remarked, urging greater participation from entrepreneurs and investors.
The event was attended by members of the Pakistani diaspora, investors, and business leaders, who discussed avenues for bilateral investment, trade, and collaboration across various sectors.
