
LAHORE: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan met Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Thursday to discuss the province’s political, administrative, and legislative affairs.
The meeting focused on the stages of legislation, proceedings of the House, and maintaining law-and-order across Punjab. Both leaders emphasized taking strict action against individuals disrupting peace and security.

Malik Ahmed Khan commended the introduction of e-Biz, highlighting its role in facilitating ease of doing business, and thanked the Chief Minister for improving the law-and-order situation in the province.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated Malik Ahmed Khan on his inclusive approach in handling government affairs and noted that for the first time, development projects are being launched in smaller cities and backward areas, not just major urban centers.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also highlighted Punjab’s business potential and assured full support for domestic and foreign investors, while reaffirming that the province’s law-and-order situation remains under control.
