
LAKKI MARWAT – Security forces killed eight terrorists and injured five others during a precision operation in Lakki Marwat on Friday. The operation was launched after intelligence agencies confirmed the presence of a heavily armed terrorist group in a remote area of the district.
Officials said the operation was conducted with high precision, leaving the militants no chance to escape. The security forces carried out a coordinated assault at dawn, killing eight terrorists on the spot while five others were injured and captured for questioning.

The authorities confirmed that this operation is part of an ongoing search in the region, amid concerns that more militants might be hiding in the nearby forests and hills. The focus remains to eliminate all threats and restore peace and stability in Lakki Marwat.
Security forces emphasized that such counter-terrorism operations will continue until the last militant is neutralized. The efforts are being conducted under the National Action Plan (NAP) framework, which aims to dismantle militant networks across the country.
