Pakistan, Saudi Arabia unite to develop football talent

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement to work together for football development. The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and the Saudi Football Federation formalized the deal through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). PFF President Mohsin Gilani and Saudi counterpart Yasser Al-Misehal signed the agreement. Both countries aim to strengthen football standards and promote the sport across all levels.

According to the MoU, the partnership will focus on coaching development, youth football, and women’s football. Both federations will also hold exchange programs for players and staff. This cooperation includes joint training camps and technical workshops. The goal is to provide better opportunities for young and female footballers in both countries.

PFF officials said the agreement will be a turning point for football in Pakistan. They believe this step will improve the game’s quality and help young talent grow. It will also offer Pakistani players exposure to international standards and training methods. The initiative aligns with PFF’s vision to uplift football in the country.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Football Federation reaffirmed its commitment to support Pakistan’s football journey. They expressed a strong desire to help develop talent and infrastructure. Saudi officials believe this partnership will also strengthen regional football ties. They called the agreement a step toward a stronger sporting relationship.
