Tragedy struck two cities as two students were found dead in separate hostel incidents on Sunday — one in Hyderabad and the other in Peshawar.
In Hyderabad, police recovered the body of Abdullah Soomro, a fourth-year MBBS student from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), from his hostel room. Initial findings suggest suicide, but police say a detailed investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.

In a similar incident in Peshawar, another student was found dead in a private hostel. Authorities have registered a case and begun investigations.
These cases follow a series of student suicides across Pakistan, including a recent incident in Lahore, where an 18-year-old student reportedly took his own life after being disheartened by his exam performance.
Police have urged educational institutions and families to address student stress and mental health concerns, as such tragedies continue to rise.
